Product Details

The sweater is worked in the round from the top down. You cast on at the neckline, knit the yoke, the sleeves are placed on a stitch holder, or waste yarn, the body is completed and then the sleeves are knitted in the round. Sleeves are quite fitted which shows up the beautiful lace pattern running down the centre, The sweater has very little positive ease, length of the sweater is meant to come to the top of the hips. For a looser fitting sweater it is recommended you work a size larger. This is a great pattern for those who have mastered the art of knit and purl, and ready to work on a simple lace pattern. Schematic and chart for the lace pattern, as well as the lace pattern written out in full. Best of all.... no seaming!! A great pattern for the older girls, teenagers and adult women.

Yarn: The Yarn Collective ‘Fleurville’ 4ply Merino Wool – 350m / 383 yrds per 100 grams).

Colour suggestion: Brunia (607) or Hibiscus (602) Both colours were featured in the images provided.
