Product Details
An unbuttoned and loosely draped jacket – a really useful garment to have in your wardrobe.
It's a fun knit in an easy-to-learn chevron stitch, worked top down in one piece, so the only seaming is along the sleeves.
This is a stash-busting project – use up your leftovers. Along with the main colour Aran weight yarn (which is just over half the total needed), doubled sock yarn, sock plus sport yarn, or thick DK/8ply can all be used in the contrast stripes.
The jacket can be made flared or not so flared to suit your taste.
Aran thickness yarn (approx 95 m/ 104 yards per 50 gm ball).
It’s important to have enough of the main colour in this thickness yarn, but contrasts are flexible, as other yarns can be added.
