These directions are for the HugKnit Chick + a bonus tutorial for picking up the stitches for the Chick. The blanket portion is knit flat in garter stitch for great tactile stimulation, chick is knit in the round. Uses worsted weight yarn (make sure its washable); 200 yds Grass Green worsted weight, 100 yds Yellow worsted weight, 1 yd each of orange and brown. 2 yds waste yarn.
