Chunky Bead Necklace

I love this necklace pattern because it's a really beautiful way to use lots of different balls of yarn in your stash and enjoy their colours and textures. This pattern is a great gift knit, but you can also use it to make a flattering accessory for your own special outfit in just a couple of evenings. Perfect for those times when you find you have nothing to wear! The pattern is perfect for a beginner and only involves knitting flat.

Materials: 2 knitting needles (US3/3.25mm or as per tension advice), 5-10g cotton light worsted or DK yarn (e.g. Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK) per knitted bead, 15 x 12mm unvarnished wooden beads, 40-50g of polyfil toy stuffing, 1m of embroidery floss, Necklace clasp, 1 tapestry needle for finishing Techniques: Cast on, Cast off, Increase, Decrease Stitches: Stocking stitch
