Product Details
Cailin is an Irish girl’s name and also the Irish word for girl. The name was chosen for this pattern because it was an Irish baby girl that inspired this design. When she took her first steps pushing a toy shopping trolley I thought about what I like wearing to the shops - a long, comfy but stylish cardigan. I wanted to design one for my young friend and this Classic Cailin Cardigan is the result:
The 2 larger sizes are extra long for that housecoat style cardigan look; and feature an open collared front and pockets
The 3 smaller sizes are left pocketless, but feature buttons to keep the cardigan in place.
SKILL LEVEL
The pattern is intermediate but could be suitable for a confident beginner because of the video links that are included and show how to work some lesser known stitches (foundation stitches).
