Product Details
This Gansey Cardigan is inspired by the wonderful fisher ganseys of the North Sea. It is worked flat (back and forth) for the entire body, but circularly for the sleeves. The neckband, sleeves, and button bands are picked up. The neck, cuffs, and bottom feature rolled edges. Underarm gussets add freedom of movement to the garment-- and they're fun to knit too! As in the Gansey tradition, most of the motifs are knit/purl combinations, with a couple of cables thrown in. An added bonus is that there are no seams to sew!
A glossary, charts, schematic, technique photos, and reading list are included.

Very complicated instructions. I'm an experienced knitter and find the charts impossible to follow. They are split up over various pages. I've undone the knitting 4 times so far.
