You don't need to live near the coast to wear this summer tank top. Grab a jacket or blazer and wear it all year round!
The body begins by working the front and back tails separately, then joining them to continue in the round to the armholes. Some waist shaping and k1, p1 ribbing at the sides of the body add a flattering touch to the fit. The lace pattern on the front yoke is begun before dividing at the armholes for sizes XS to XL, and begins after dividing at the armholes for sizes 2XL and 3XL.
The armhole ribbing begins by picking up stitches along the shaped edges at the bottom of the armholes, and worked as applied edging until all the picked up stitches are gone. Then, the remaining single stitch decreases are worked along with the remainder of the yoke.
