Product Details

The Colony Mitts are inspired by the Abbeyhill Colonies in Edinburgh. As their symbol, they used the bee hive - a colony of artisans working together to build a thriving community. These mitts take their motif from the honeycomb structure found in bee hives to celebrate the Colonies. These mitts were designed especially for the Colony of Artists festival held in the Abbeyhill Colonies in Edinburgh each September. Knit in the round from the bottom up, the simple colourwork pattern creates a striking effect that will leave your hands warm, while your fingers are free to carry on with the essential tasks of living.
