Product Details
This cute scarf is easy to make and easy to modify in terms of length. Fitting a scarf to a child can be difficult. The rule of thumb is to make it the same length as their height, but it depends on the child and how they wear their scarves. This scarf is knit in 3.5” (9 cm) segments. Knit as many or as few as needed. Have the recipient try it on as you go. Et voila!
Yarn: Worsted weight, 350 yds (320 m) [36”/91.5 cm scarf] to 675 yds (617 m) [72”/183 cm] scarf. Yarn 1: 150 yds (137 m) to 300 yds (274 m). Yarn 2: 150 yds (137 m) to 300 yds (274 m). Trim yarn: worsted weight, 50 yds (46 m) to 75 yds (69 m).
