The pattern is fully charted and written out. Choosing different yarn weight and corresponding needle size results in different size placemat/coaster and may require more yarn.
Approximate amounts:
• Placemat MC and CC 45 g / 1.6 oz = 150 m / 164 yards of each colour
• Coaster MC and CC 10 g / 0.35 oz = 33 m / 36 yards of each colour
