Botanical name: Chrysocephalum apiculatum
This beautiful yellow wildflower can be found in all states of Australia. Its cheery yellow flower heads are instantly recognisable and dry beautifully. Common Everlastings generally flower in Spring in grasslands and open woodlands, but can fower at other times of the year.
Construction:
These are a super quick and simple knit; requiring just basic knitting skills. The flower head is constructed from a half pom pom, with the petals using just knit sttich. The flowers are assembled onto lengths of i-cord and the short pieces of i-cord are used to create the leaves.
