What you'll need
Product Details
Connie is the perfectly wearable transition to spring – a jacket-like cardigan of dense garter stitch knit. Wear it zipped or not, as the weather allows. For dramatic effect, short rows shape the front, dipping its hemline slightly, and counterbalancing the rise of its collar in the back. Side shaping is gentle, just enough for a feminine silhouette. You’ll find this to be a delightfully quick knit, worked flat from the bottom up in worsted weight wool. Easy knitting and shaping, and easy zipper insertion too, achieved by matching rows and following the paths of the defined garter stitches. No blocking is required for this piece. A light steam at the end evens stitches out nicely.
14 page pdf includes pattern instructions, photographs, schematics, photo tutorials for inserting sleeve caps and zipper installation, definitions for relevant abbreviations, and links to online tutorials about garter stitchshort rows, seaming, and grafting.
