Yarn: 160 yards (hat) or 460 yards (scarf) of worsted weight wool yarn.
Gauge: 19 stitches and 26 rounds = 4” in stockinette stitch with larger needle, before blocking 25 stitches & 26 rounds = 4” in Cable Pattern with larger needle, after blocking.
Needles: 4 mm/US 6 and 5mm/US 8 circular needle, 40 cm/16" long; 1 set 5 mm/US 8 double-pointed needles or long circular needle for magic loop.
