Product Details

The cumulonimbus socks are so named because the fluffy sproingy tonal grey yarn my sister dyed and handspun reminded me of stormy clouds. The lace in the pattern provides a little ventilation for the light sportweight yarn. The cables were inspired by cumulonimbus clouds which seem to grow vertically in columns. The socks have a slip stitch heel flap that, along with the heel turn, is reinforced with wooly nylon for durability with precious handspun yarn.
