Product Details

This quick, easy-to knit scarf or cowl can be worked in two yarn weights (fingering or DK/light worsted) and five sizes (petite scarf/tall scarf)[S cowl/M cowl/L cowl] for a cozy layer on chilly days. Natural yarn colors enhance the fabric texture while richly-dyed yarns will dramatize the openwork and bold geometry. This project makes a great beginner or travel knit.

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size and drape.

Pattern includes instructions for both scarf and cowl in multiple sizes and two yarn weights

yardages: fingering: 450(650)[325, 700, 1300] yards DK/light worsted: 350(500)[150, 375, 675] yards

gauge: fingering: 24 sts and 32 rows = 4 inches in stockinette (unblocked) DK/light worsted: 20 sts and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette (unblocked)

Samples are shown in S cowl in Bare Naked Wools Confection, color White Chocolate and M cowl in Stone Soup Fingering, colors Slate and Marble.
