Product Details
I remember being a beginner knitter and wanting more than anything to knit fingerless mitts. But the patterns seems so hard and there were several skills I didn't yet have. It was frustrating and made me feel bad about my skill level.
So I designed this gauntlet pattern as a way to inspire beginners to make their own fingerless mitts without the difficulty of adding thumb gussets or seams. The pattern is a great way to practice working in the round and includes a tutorial for magic loop knitting, which is my favorite way to make small in-the-round projects.
This pattern is designed to be a skill and confidence builder, and it creates something useful that can be worn and enjoyed at the end. It's also easy to customize in terms of length and sizing up or down if desired.
