It's "Diagon" because of its this-way, that-way diagonal lines made from allover cables that move all the way to the crown. This project is a workout for cable knitters, but one that pays off with a very warm, unique hat. The pattern helps you navigate the pattern in the round so that you won't get your lines crossed and end up in the wrong destination.
