Product Details
At the specified gauge (8sts x 10 rows = 2.54cm) this makes a cap about 19 inches around. The side - from hem to first decrease - is about 4" (10 cm) (on me this comes over the top of the ear).
I used markers between the repeats to make it easier to keep track of where I was, this meant moving the markers around on the 2 rows where the pattern starts one stitch early.
