I have a special place in my heart for the dogwood tree - not only are they beautiful harbingers of warmer weather, but my husband works with them for a living. There's no sight quite as exhilarating after a long winter as a field full of blooming dogwoods. I wanted to try to capture their symmetrical beauty in lace, but I also wanted a shawl I could wrap up in when the temperature hasn't caught up with the sunshine.
From this came Dogwood Shawl, the perfect thing for celebrating spring any time of year. This square shawl is large enough to be worn a number of ways, and doubles as a lap or baby blanket. It is worked center-out in the round, and the pattern includes both charts and written instructions.
