I designed the Dulcibella tunic to show off a variety of seaming techniques featured in my Craftsy class, [Seaming Crochet.][1] The sample was seamed using the Connect and Weave method (not discussed in the pattern but shown in great detail in the Craftsy class). The pattern includes written instructions and a stitch diagram for the modified chain seam used on the side vents. You can see this seam (and more) in action in the Craftsy class.
This top-down, lace tunic looks far more difficult than it actually is. Made from basic shapes, Dulcibella is an effortless layering piece that you’ll be reaching for throughout the year. The hip-length garment has a comfortable boat neck along with elbow-length sleeves. Generously sized from sizes small through 4X, select a body skimming silhouette, or opt for a more relaxed look by choosing
a size with more positive ease. The pattern includes crochet stitch
diagrams for both the main stitch pattern as well as the decorative
chain seam on the
