The summer shirt is worked in two parts from the top down. Start at the neckband and knit the front piece first in RS and WS rows. Then pick up stitches from the cast-on at the top and knit the back in the same way as the front. Then work an rib pattern on both sides to join the front and back pieces. Then knit the bottom cuff and the sleeve cuffs.
The shirt should fit loosely. Choose a size with approx. 23cm (9“) positive ease. The sample is worked in size B 109cm (43“) for a 86cm (34“) bust circumference
