Pattern for cable headband.
The headband is worked flat, in RS- and WS rows, using a circular ndl or two dpns, size 6.0 mm. For the perfect cable, the cable is worked gradually with the help of double yarn overs. This makes the cable pattern nice and flat and does not "crumple" as it is often the case when a large number of stitches are worked into a cable using the usual method. Before binding off, it is best to put the headband around your head again to test whether it fits and, if necessary, knit a few rows more or less.
