You know that moment when everything just falls into place? That’s what happened with this shawl. A simple shawl edged with triangles had been on my mind forever, being impossible to capture exactly - but playing around with constructions, all of a sudden it fell into place. And it turned out to be soooo simple! Eureka is worked flat from the bottom up, starting the tip with a few stitches and increasing upwards, making your rows longer as you add a new triangle on each side. Two different sizes are described here – one using 2 skeins of DK weight yarn, and a slightly bigger version using 3 skeins. In reality, you can make the shawl as big or small as you like, stopping at any point. Play around with colored stripes, or keep it a plain and simple, soothing knit in one color or in a luxuriously hand dyed, slightly variegated yarn, like I did. It’s all up to you!
