Product Details
The family Everdeen, especially Katniss and her father, are the inspiration for this not quite knee-high sock. In The Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Collins, Katniss learned her archery skills from her bow making father as a young girl.
The lace and cable motif is designed to resemble a group of feathered arrows in a quiver. The braided cabling is reminiscent of Katniss’ own simplistic signature hairstyle which later draws attention during the games. Much like the hunter goddess Diana, also often represented as an archer, these socks are both delicate but strong, feminine and earthy.
GENERAL NOTES: This pattern includes instructions for a cuff down sock in 3 sizes [S, M, L] with notes for varying length and style. Due to the tightness of the ribbing and the need for shaping, the CO numbers do not equal the final sts count for the round. A CO number of [80, 88, 96] for the tall version will decrease into a sock with a final round count of [64, 72, 80]. When determining size
