This asymmetrical garter stitch shawl is a quick and easy project that starts at one corner, increases along the top edge, and finishes on a long side edge creating a deep triangle shape. A pretty eyelet chain lace pattern follows along the other edge. This is a fun project that will highlight any pretty skein of yarn. Pattern includes notes, list of abbreviations, diagram, and both written and charted instructions. This pattern uses one skein of Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light. The sample is shown in Night Bloom. Skills required: increasing, basic lace, blocking. Stitches used: k, p, sl1, kfb, k2tog, ssk, yo.
