Product Details
Farrand is worked in one piece from the bottom up, with sleeves worked in the round. Sleeves and body are joined and worked together, and sleeves are decreased with raglan shaping. The sleeve cable then travels across the shoulders to form the continuous saddle. Front edging is knitted and seamed on.
The yarn used in this sweater is wooly and toothy. It has some drape, but a lot of structure, which is absolutely necessary when working with positive ease and cables. When substituting yarn, be very careful not to select a heavy/dense yarn, or one with too much drape.
Pattern is fully tech edited by Dawn Catanzaro, and includes fully written out stitch patterns, as well as full charts for every shaping a stitch pattern. A schematic with full measurements is also included.
Sweater shown is size 47.5” {121 cm}; model is 72” {183 cm} tall, with a 38” {97 cm} bust
