Product Details
The ever classic Fedora Hat. Never goes out of style. Suits all face shapes and looks so good! Pattern is written in English with photos with color coded instructions for sizes Baby to Men's XX - Large. A stiffer construction is recommended so stitches need to be fairly tight. Brim can be shortened or extended.
Soft yarns such as rayon that do not hold their shape are not recommended for this hat. Pattern requires a minimum of 2 balls for Baby of 50 gr / 1.75 oz Bernat Handicrafter Medium Worsted Weight Cotton to 3 to 4 balls for larger sizes, 5 to 6 for XL.
Pattern is not for a beginner. Although fairly easy, there are many increases that may overwhelm the inexperienced. Must be comfortable with keeping a stitch count and working in the round.
Instructions and photos are provided for the FPSC stitch. Video on how to work the crown is available. Please ask. Can also be made without using the FPSC, using SC instead and as long as the stitches are tight, it still works up well.
