Product Details
Feeling All the Frills combines a basic vest construction with big shoulder frills and split high-low hem. Worked seamlessly from the top down, the back and front of the yoke are knit flat before being joined in the round at the under-arm. The shoulder frills are shaped via a combination of German short-rows and multiple increase rounds. I recommend wearing this vest with approximately 1 to 4 inches of ease for a relaxed fit. It is a great piece to layer over a dress and elevate your everyday wardrobe.
RECOMMENDED YARN Light Aran + lace weight held double or Aran weight held single.
GAUGE 16 sts & 22 rows = 4” / 10cm in stocking stitch on larger needle after blocking.
NEEDLES 5 mm or size needed to get gauge. 4.50 mm or one size smaller than gauge needle. 16” / 40 cm circulars in each size for the neckline and shoulders frills 32” / 80 cm circulars in each size for the body.
