Product Details

I woke up one morning and with a desperate need to knit and design a mug cozy. There are four characters, Santa Claus Mug Cozy or Father Christmas Mug Cozy if you prefer, Elf 'n' Safety Mug Cozy, Gingerbread Man Mug Cozy (or lady) and a Snowman Mug Cozy (or lady). The main body of the cosy is worked side to side and allows you to join the arms without sewing using a three-needle technique. The mitten/arm pieces are worked from the fingertips of the mitten up to the shoulder in one piece and in the round. They use smaller needles to give them some stability, but you can use a larger needle if you prefer larger hands/arms for your cozy or they are the only size you have available. The hem is knitted on after the main piece is finished and stitches are picked up for the hood once the embellishments, duplicate stitch belt and buttons are added. The cosies are designed to work with either the left or right hand, follow the instructions for the version you want.
