Product Details

Knitting pattern for quick to knit mittens to cheer up those dreary late Winter days, featuring Snowdrops & Spring buds.

The mittens are worked flat, on two straight, single point needles, using just Knit & Purl sts, including the fancy wrist ribbing.

They require minimal stitching to complete – thumb & side seams. The buds & leaves are knitted separately & stitched onto the completed mittens.

Each pair of mittens uses approx 50g (less than 2 ozs) DK yarn main colour (for the largest size) plus oddments of contrast colours, so could make an ideal stashbuster project.

The instructions are given in four sizes, suitable for average ages 3 years - adult.

The pattern is in PDF format, on 3 pages, with row by row instructions.

Techniques required for this pattern:- Casting on & off, Knit & Purl sts, increasing & decreasing, sewing up, adding stitched detail.
