Answering my search for a simple yet interesting lace, is this 11-stitch by 20-row repeat of Zigzag Vine (actually 10 rows twice, with the second set duplicating the first in the opposite direction). Briefly trimmed with Garter stitch, you’ll find this to be an enjoyable project to make, suitable for most knitters, and luxurious to wear.
