What you'll need
Product Details
Perfect for beginners, it's easy to hook up my simple pair of fingerless mittens!
The mitts are worked in the round using simple single crochet stitches (UK double crochet), half double crochet (UK half treble) and double crochet (UK treble) stitches. Separate instructions are given for the optional flowers, which add a simple decoration.
The A4 pattern is given in UK crochet terms and US crochet terms separately. Pattern includes instructions for starting each mitt with the standard Foundation Chain method, or alternatively starting each mitt with the Foundation Row method.
Each finished mitt measures approx 18cm circumference and 9cm long (fits average ladies hands).
You will need a stretchy DK yarn for the mitts. I used Yarn Stories Fine Merino & Baby Alpaca DK (70% wool, 30% alpaca, 50g/120m), 1 ball of Leaf.
You will also need any aran yarn for the flowers. I used Yarn Stories Fine Merino & Baby Alpaca Aran (70% wool, 30% alpaca, 50g/95m), 1 ball of each: French Navy and Mulberry
