Product Details
Tucks create an added textural dimension to this jacket worked in one piece from the bottom of the back down along the fronts. The sleeves are worked in the same direction as the body and the stitches are cast on in sections. All the tucks, that look like folds, face the same direction. In contrast to the dense fabric of the body is the extra-long scarf collar, which is worked separately and sewn on, in a cabled cord pattern by Lynne Barr. The Folded Cardigan is knitted in a bouncy sportweight yarn of merino and mohair.
Gauge: 24 sts and 36 rows in st st measures 10 cm/4" square after blocking.
Notes: The cropped cardigan is knitted in one piece from the bottom of the back, adding sleeves and then separating at the front, continuing to the bottom of the fronts. The scarf collar is knitted separately and sewn in place.
