I couldn’t resist. I love the design of my forager shawl that when we started picking blackberries this summer, it brought all the memories of my childhood, and the original forager shawl back.
So, I just had to make another one. This time, it’s all about the bees. Those amazing workers who make it possible to have the blackberries.
This design celebrates those little workers. It’s all about the bees, every pattern is about them. The honeycomb stitches, the lace pattern that looks like bees, to the stitch names.
Once again, I have the privilege to work with Angela of Prettytwistedknots yarn in making this design. She has dyed some amazing colourways.
The shawl is very adaptable and can be a simple rectangle scarf or join to make an amazing cowl. Both ways are easy to wear.
This pattern has been test knitted.
