SIZE - approximately 27cm (11"), depending on yarn and hook choices and individual tension.
DIFFICULTY LEVEL - Intermediate due to leg joining and fiddly details. She is quite a bit of work but absolutely worth it.
SKILLS NEEDED - Amigurumi style crochet (crochet spiral round), magic ring, dc (US sc), htr (US hdc), tr (US dc), dtr (US tr), increases and decreases, sl st, working into front and back loops, colour change. Basic embroidery, lazy daisy stitch (instructions included) and sewing to attach parts.
MATERIALS NEEDED - 3.5mm (E/4) crochet hook, dk (light worsted) weight yarn in 3 main colours, 20g (0.7oz) hand dye yarn for the skirt, wings and hat, I used 4 ply (sport) plus a little black for the facial features, polyester toy stuffing, yarn needle. 2 x 9mm (0.4") toy safety eyes. Stitch markers are recommended.
