Product Details
Named for Franconia Notch in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, this Aran beanie features traditional cables and a textured evergreen tree motif, along with an optional contrasting pompom on top. The perfect hat for practicing basic Aran cable techniques, this design will work well in light neutrals or bright colors that show off the stitch patterns. Use any sport weight yarn for this pattern.
This is an intermediate level pattern. Knitters should have experience with making cables and following cable charts or written instructions. Knitters will also use basic decreases to shape the hat.
This pattern includes cable charts as well as full written instructions, so that knitters can choose according to their preference.
