Product Details

Freddy beach is the nickname for the beautiful capital city of Fredericton in my province of New Brunswick. With no true beaches or sand around there is plenty of speculation around the nickname. Many think it to be linked to the river running through the centre of the city. The river is lined with lovely walking trails and is spanned by a converted railway bridge that is just for pedestrian use. One of our favorite things to do when we visit our daughter in Fredericton is to walk the bridge, enjoy the views and hit our favorite craft brewery.

This is an addictive and very easy texture pattern that seems to make the knitting fly by. It is my favourite kind of sock with a little bit of interest but lots of plain knitting that shows off the yarn. Written and charted instructions are included.

The sock comes in 3 sizes and is knit from the top down with a contrast heel flap and traditional gusset. I finished it with my version of a rounded toe.

1 skein of fingering weight yarn.
