Product Details
When frost is on the windowpanes, there’s nothing cozier than curling up with a good book, but if you have to go out these fingerless mitts will help you keep that cozy feeling even if Jack Frost comes nipping at your nose. Knit seamlessly in worsted weight yarn, they work up quickly and are designed to fit loosely, like a comfy old sweater.
Frosting is started at the cuff in the round, split to knit the thumbhole flat, then rejoined to finish in the round. Gapping at the thumb is minimized by the overlap created by some cunning increases which also allow the mitts to accommodate a wide variety of hand shapes and sizes. The branching cable pattern, evocative of fern frost, is interesting enough to keep your attention without being so complicated that you can’t put it down mid-repeat.
