This hat can be made following the pattern to a letter or you can make it made-to-measure.
It works up fast and has a lovely texture and I have added a full tutorial, so even beginners could create this hat.
If you are a novice crocheter, I would recommend you to follow the pattern to my gauge as instructed. If you are more confident or at an intermediate level, skip to the end of the pattern to read about how to adjust this hat to your own gauge and make it made to measure. That way you are free to use any type of yarn and hook.
