Product Details

As fall deepens and winter begins to creep in, each frost makes elaborate fern-like patterns in the ice.

This shawl features panels of twisted stitches that eco the beauty of those icy tendrils.

This asymmetrical triangular shawl is knitted from the tip to the broad edge, see schematic below. The twisted stitch lace pattern creates textured sections interspersed with garter rows that produce gentle ripples across the shawl. The shawl is designed in sock weight yarn, but you could make it with a different weight, or make it a different size, by changing the number of repeats worked, but remember your yarn requirements will vary from those in the pattern. I recommend that your main colour yarn has good contrast against the contrast colour you intend to use so that the ripple effect stands out.
