This simple slip stitch pattern has such great texture and looks so squishy that my first thought when I saw it was to create a children’s bonnet. The bonnet has great coverage keeping that little head warm along with a chin strap secured with a button to keep it nicely in place.
To fit head circumference- Newborn 13.75”/35cm (0-6 months –15”/38cm, 6-12 months – 16.25”/41.5cm, 1‑2 years – 18”/46cm, 2‑5 years – 20”/51cm)
Yarn - 8 ply / DK Merino - 68-142 yards / 62-130 metres, approximately 27 - 55g
