Product Details
This scarf is inspired by the quiet majesty of gothic buildings and their intricate floral patterns sculpted in the stone. I didn’t grow up catholic but I’ve always loved gothic churches. As a kid, I would sit in silence to enjoy the peace and beauty of these ancient buildings, contemplating the light playing through gorgeous stained glasses and listening to the whisper of time through their walls. The scarf is knitted flat in the lovely natural merino yarn Fado by Fonty. It starts and ends with a few rows of backloop ribbing, and the body of the scarf is worked in a pattern made of texture, lace and cables. It’s available in one size, easily adjustable if you want a longer or larger scarf by adding some pattern repeats.
