Product Details
Asymmetric jacket with a tailored fit uses embroidery and beading for an elegant, vintage effect. The body is worked in one piece to the armholes then divided for Fronts and Back, the three quarter length sleeves, knitted up from the cuff, are set in and the trims on cuff and edge of body is knitted on. The shaping is achieved with decreases positioned within the lower section colour work, side shaping, darts and short row shaping at the bust. The decoration is produced by a combination of intarsia and Swiss Darning (duplicate stitch) – the beads are stitched on. There is no need to strictly adhere to the embroidery suggested by the charts, use it as an opportunity to experiment using whatever colours, threads and beads that appeal to you, or help to co-ordinate an outfit.
