Product Details
Granny OX Square is a variation of the squares Crosses and Noughts using the traditional granny square which makes it easier for a beginner. When I designed Crosses and Noughts I had several other similar designs in my head and this was was one of them. So I have produced the full pattern for this.
It was designed for double knit yarn or aran weight yarn but any weight could be used. In double knit weight yarn used in the sample, approx 50g is required and the resultant size is 25cm/10” square. In aran weight yarn using a 5mm hook, the finished size is 30cm/12” square but it is a flexible design where you can add or remove rounds to get the size you want.
Written in UK and US terms, be careful to use the correct pages.
