You will need a total of about 300g of cotton DK yarn: 200g for the main colour and scraps for the multi-coloured squares.
You will need to know how to do these stitches: slst = slip stitch, ch = chain, dc = double crochet (sc in US terms), tr = treble crochet (dc in US terms).
