This women’s slightly cropped vest is worked from the bottom hem up to the armholes in one piece. There is subtle shaping from the hem to the waist using gusset decreases incorporated into the pattern. The vest also features a rounded neckline, with the front edges, neckline and armholes finished with simple garter-stitch bands.
Sample size shown is 35” (88.5 cm), worn with approximately 2”/5 cm of positive ease. You'll want to pick a size with at least 1/2-inch or so of positive ease so you can layer it if you plan on wearing it with a slim-fitting top underneath. For normal sized tees and shirts, 1-2" of positive ease is recommended.
