Haori socks are inspired by haoris, traditional Japanese jackets.
These socks are worked from toes up.
You have the choice between Japanese toes (tabi) with separate thumb, or classical toes (all toes together).
Sizes:
2XS/XS (S/M/L/XL/2XL), depending on foot width: 16/18 (20/22/24/26/28) cm / 6½/7 (8/8½/9½/10¼/11) inches of circumference. Sizes 2XS and XS fit children’s feet.

Materials:
150/175 (200/250/300/350/400) meters / 165/190 (220/270/330/380/440) yards of fingering sock yarn for main colour (C1), and 50/60 (70/80/90/100/110) meters / 55/66 (77/90/100/110/120) yards for contrasting colour (C2).
Circular needles 2.5 mm / US # 1 ½ (it is preferable to have 2 sets of needles to work the big toe and the other toes separately before joining).
