Product Details
Mosaic knitting is such an easy color work technique. I like to swatch mosaic patterns to see how they look. This pattern is interesting because the pattern is worked and then the colors are switched, and the pattern is worked again - this is called Shadow Mosaic. This hat turned out so cute!
Hat measurements are 17 1/4, 18 3.4, 20, 21, 22 3/4"
Needles: US 2 (2.75 mm) is used for the ribbing; US 3 (3.25 mm) is used for the main hat.
Stitch markers are used to stay on track for the pattern and used for the shaping of the top of the top.
Hat is worked with some extra length for a slouchy look. It uses a fingering weight yarn which is a nice light weight yarn. 2 contrasting colors are used with high contrast.
This pattern has been tech edited.
