The pattern goes through how to make the covers bigger to suit the size of ear pads that you have.
These were designed for my own Sennheiser travel headphones which are completely round. The ear pads began to shed and so I designed my own replacements to fix them up and to avoid needing to throw my headset out or buy new synthetic ear pads.
