Product Details
This hat and mittens set uses the same stitch pattern as my Hearth Socks – I wanted to see the pattern stitch as a cozy hat and mittens set and I love how they look like thermal waffle weave! The patterning uses only knit, purl and slipped stitches, and is easy to memorize.
Both the hat and mittens are knit with the magic loop method and uses DK/sport weight yarn. The pattern stitch looks quite different depending on the yarn used - a tonal yarn looks very geometric, and a self striping yarn carries one colour into the next for a unique look.
